Thank you! It was a real eye opener as I had no idea what to expect until my visit. The team are really friendly and it was great to chat with Steve. Im seriously considering a Royal Enfield in future and would love a Himalayan. Maybe in a few years time. I cant wait to take a bike out for a video, hopefully starting with the Bear 650 and then maybe the Himalayan & Guerilla in future. It is a worry, we used to have several bike dealers in sheffield but 2 left the city last year. Hopefully Manhattan will keep busy due to RE's popularity and how well established the dealership is. Thanks for watching!

@CB1000FP1 yeah same here in sheffield. No suzuki, honda or yamaha, its crazy! Nearest main dealers to me are cmc in chesterfield but thats just Yamaha. I had to go to a dealership in Derby to buy my current bike (suzuki). Thanks for watching!

Yeah there is definately a shortage of independent dealers but I think Manhattan will be fine. They have a lot of loyal customers and RE as a brand are doing well plus new models on the horizon. Still they need our support especially as this is the only dealership in sheffield in which you can buy a brand new bike (on road at least). Thanks for watching!

Yeah I was very impressed with them. I've not got the funds for another bike but if i did i would love to get a himalayan from them! Will be back there when i need a new helmet or jacket though. Thanks for watching!

Most of them are tech nerds & glorified plug & play part fitters these days. They would be scratching their bonces , if they had to fettle a proper bike with carburettors a choke or a kickstart .

Steve from Manhattans here; I can only guess it was because we were either in the main season and unable to take on that kind of job, or we were down to one technician when we had one off with illness. It would’ve been because of the lack of time in the season-our two guys are up to anything from 1950/60s British to the present day. Presently we’d have time to look at it as has been explained to the OP. Two major bike shops closing in Sheffield last year have placed pressure on our workshop and sometimes we have to be selective. Hope that explains things, Steve at Manhattans 😊

@ I wasn’t meaning your gaff in particular , but a great deal of dealers in general these days . I prefer Suzukis or Hondas as I have never had one let me down in over 53 years of owning riding & home servicing them . Everytime I have chosen other than the Japanese brands I have had woeful engine & electrical issues .

I think it was just the time of year and the fact it was bloody cold! Not sure when the parking restrictions came in but i visited in the summer and it was packed with bikers and all parked in front of the shops like usual. I'm going to try and go again in the spring/summer and do another vlog so hopefully be busier then! Thanks for watching!

Although a great sound, Is a bit too big for the helmet and postproduction gets complicated with a separate audio channel. I think DJI Mic Mini is better for motovlog

@@bikerpaul100 FYI I gave -10 gain a shot today in my short and it yielded pretty good results with low reduction. It'll be some tinkering

Hi, i cant say that happens with my helmet (still using the one in the video). I find it really comfortable. It could be that the size is wrong for you. Sometimes its just that a certain brand of helmet is not right as I used to find Arai helmets uncomfortable. Maybe return it if you can and swap for a different size/brand. Thanks for watching!
